Seems like this year hasn't been to much about
membership as over 1000 members are needed
to get to 100%. Being we are in May starting
tomorrow I hate to see things not moving forward
and hope we at least have a "ALL STATE COMMANDER"
this year. May God Bless and we get more members
New/Reinstated before this year ends.
It is never over until the FAT LADY SINGS
Our Transportation Grant is doing well, this past quarter we transported 50 Veterans, 13,368 miles, 173 trips at a cost of $8,752.77, total time expended 201 hours and 3 minutes.
I would like to wish all State and Local Officers in the VFW, members and family's a wonderful Christmas and Successful New Year.
Also a shout to everyone who has and continue to support me. Thank You
David Williams PSC, State Quartermaster
National Council Member 2017-2021
I miss being able to attend meetings and shooting the bull with friends. I have been here in Belen, NM for 14 months assisting my Sister, who has had a stroke, and is recovering slowly. I have been trying to get back to Caribou, ME but each time I get ready to leave something happens and here I am, still here.
I hope all is well back at Post 9389 as they do great things for the community. Wishing all a happy up coming holiday season. Will remember all our Veterans Who Have Given All For Our Country. Roy O. Green
