Seems like this year hasn't been to much about
membership as over 1000 members are needed
to get to 100%. Being we are in May starting
tomorrow I hate to see things not moving forward
and hope we at least have a "ALL STATE COMMANDER"
this year. May God Bless and we get more members
New/Reinstated before this year ends.
It is never over until the FAT LADY SINGS
Our Transportation Grant is doing well, this past quarter we transported 50 Veterans, 13,368 miles, 173 trips at a cost of $8,752.77, total time expended 201 hours and 3 minutes.
I would like to wish all State and Local Officers in the VFW, members and family's a wonderful Christmas and Successful New Year.
Also a shout to everyone who has and continue to support me. Thank You
David Williams PSC, State Quartermaster
National Council Member 2017-2021
I miss being able to attend meetings and shooting the bull with friends. I have been here in Belen, NM for 14 months assisting my Sister, who has had a stroke, and is recovering slowly. I have been trying to get back to Caribou, ME but each time I get ready to leave something happens and here I am, still here.
I hope all is well back at Post 9389 as they do great things for the community. Wishing all a happy up coming holiday season. Will remember all our Veterans Who Have Given All For Our Country. Roy O. Green
CONGRATULATIONS FOR A GREAT YEAR
Steve San Pedro and his Team brought the Department of Maine, VFW to the top bringing him to an "ALL AMERICAN STATE COMMANDER."
I hope you well in your endeavors to step up threw the chairs and make your dream come true. GOOD LUCK STEVE.
As for me, after serving 40+ years was and am Blackballed for the second year in a row from holding ANY Department Officers or even a Committee appointment. Well I'll still be around helping my Post and District and anyone needing anything. I never have or will give up
With Richard, Steve and Andy at the Helm things should be super this 2017-2018 Year. Wish you the Best.
AJ Roy, PSC
